My Nightmare Experience With PhoenixBailBonds.co
My name is Jim Boeing and I am this is our story and personal experience we had when a family member was going through a very bad time in their life following a recent arrest in Phoenix, Arizona. While I do not want to publicly air out my family members personal situation I have no choice in sharing our experience this way because we have no other choice because our opinions are being erased and deleted online by the staff at PhoenixBailBonds.co claiming we are his competitor which we obviously are not in any way associated with the company they claim we are.
This started some time ago after a family member of ours was arrested and charged with a crime they did not commit. Believe it or not some people do get arrested and are actually not guilty of the crime they are being accused of. What made this case worse is it was such an incredibly obvious mistaken identity that if they actually talked to witnesses that were on scene they would have known this before taking them to jail in the first place.
We received a phone call from the maricopa county sheriffs office around 2:43AM one night as my wife and I were sleeping. On the other end was one of our family members voice telling us to please answer the call. I won't get in to the nightmare it is to be able to accept these phone calls and how expensive they can be but it is extremely difficult to be able to take the call in the first place just to find out what was going on.
Hopefully anyone reading this will never have to experience anything like this but I share our story in hopes of helping someone else from what our family went through. If this helps even one person then it will be worth it to us. The lengths this company has gone to simply stop us from sharing our review says a lot about them and is the reason why we felt we had to share our story with as many people as we could on a neutral site that they could not simply delete or erase our story.
I can not describe how bad you feel receiving a phone call like we did and feeling so helpless. That night my wife and I did not sleep as we waited to hear what was happening. We just sat up all night calling the rest of the family and letting them know what had happened. I don't think any of us got any sleep that night.
Around 5 AM or 6 AM the next morning we must have missed a phone call from the jail because another family member texted my wife and said that we need to get by our phone. That night we were tired and worried and I guess we did not hear the beep for their call. When we finally got the call we were told that they were not being released and were given a bond by the judge instead. We were told that we needed to call a bail bonds and they could help.
My wife and I had no idea what to do. None of us have ever had to do this before so after we let everyone know about the update we were talking about how to find a good bonds company. Since no one in our family knew anyone who had gone through this before we eventually just went to google and started searching. After reading reviews we eventually decided to call PhoenixBailBonds.co.
We explained to the person who answered what happened and they wanted to know the name and booking number of our family member and asked what jail they were in. They apparently were having some sort of computer troubles and we were told they would call us back. We ended up waiting for nearly 45 minutes before we eventually got a call back and were told we needed to meet to proceed.
We let them know that we were really busy that day but we wanted to help get them out of jail. We were told that as long as everything works out we could be in and out of the office within an hour or two max. I decided to cancel one of my appointments that day to make sure we had time to do it and called them back to meet that day.
Now I will say this before I proceed. They are really nice on the phone and made us feel comfortable enough to meet with them but that is about where it all ends because after being up all night worrying about helping our family member and everything else that has happened I just could not share this as you will soon see why.
For us the drive to where they had us meet was not that far. It was about a 15 minute drive so not that bad. We finally arrived at the place and walked in. The place smelled bad. Like really bad and my wife and I looked at each other and she gave me a look like she wanted to stay outside. I shook my head no and she stayed inside even though I couldn't stand the smell either. Eventually we were greeted by an old man. He came out and wiped his mouth like he was eating something. He shook my wife's hand and then mine and that is when I realized that he probably was not eating back there as he smelled really bad of alcohol.
It wasn't until he started asking us questions that I realized that he wasn't just having a drink back there. The guy was drunk. This was early afternoon and there is no excuse for a business employee to be drinking and meeting customers. After I realized that he was obviously drunk I let him know that we can tell he has been drinking and is drunk. It was then that he became really defensive and told us that he had a sip before we got there and wasn't expecting anyone before us.
My wife gave the guy a look that I will never forget and let him know that we would be leaving a bad review and will not be using them now or in the future. The old guy became mad and told us both to get out and that we had better not leave any bad review or we would regret it.
The good news is that we were able to post bail ourselves and everything worked out but my wife and I agreed that we should leave our review of our experience. I left a review on the company reviews and gave them a one star. It was the lowest I could actually give otherwise I would have given them a zero because they do not deserve a single star.
I thought that would be the end to the story until just recently I noticed that the owner himself replied to our review and accused us of being disgruntled competitors of his from another company. We had no idea the drunk old man was the owner of the company. Now he is trying to back peddle by accusing us of being his competitor so he can bury this story I guess.
We do not know if this was a one time thing or if this guy has a drinking problem but we wanted to share our personal experience to let others know. If it wasn't for the owner himself trying to cover up and lie about our meeting we wouldn't have to post about our experience this way.
We want to let people know to beware of this company and apparently the owner himself. In a lot of cases you can post bail yourself like we had to do. If you have to use a bail bonds make sure to read the reviews first or ask friends and relatives first. This would have saved our family a nightmare trip to the wrong bail bonds company.
